The Surveying Foundation Ltd was established to advance education in surveying in Australia for the public benefit — supporting professional surveyors and the cadastral, engineering and spatial science professionals who use or rely on survey data.
We provide scholarships, bursaries and financial assistance to individuals and organisations, fund research and workforce development initiatives, and create and distribute educational materials that raise the standard of practice across the profession.
Our work is made possible by the generosity of member firms of Consulting Surveyors Victoria, individual donors, charitable trusts, grants, and royalties from surveying plans — a community united by a commitment to the profession.
